We the Parish of St. Anthony of Padua, offer a variety of religious education programs for a diverse parish population.
We offer classes to prepare for Baptism, First Holy Communion and Confirmation, this classes are available in English, Spanish and Vietnamese. These sacramental preparation classes seek to further the individuals' spiritual and faith life development. Our sacramental preparation classes follow the guidelines prescribed by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.
Requirements for the First Communion Program
- Minimum age is 7 years old.
- The program consists of two consecutive years.
- You must bring the Baptism certificate of your child at the time of registration.
- The parents (guardians) must attend meetings. The dates will be given to you at the time of registration.
- The child must maintain a good assistance (can only be absent 3 classes per semester).
- The parents must pray with the child at home, and introduce the child to the parish life; coming to the Sunday Mass is a MUST for the child
- There will be a welcoming rite to which the parents must attend with the child, the date will be given at the time of registration.
- Classes always start in the beginning of September every year. Registrations start at the end of August every year.
